I am the Program Manager for the Center for Genome Dynamics. Under the leadership of the Center Director Gary Churchill, I coordinate Center events, compile content for Center reports, design and maintain the Center website, and curate the Center's data resources. The Center is one of my responsibilities as Research Programs Manager for Gary Churchill's Group.

Prior to joining The Jackson Laboratory in Sept 2008, I was Research Director of the Institute for Genomics & Systems Biology at The University of Chicago. In this role I was responsible for promoting research collaborations, developing educational programs and overseeing the administrative affairs of the Institute.

My postdoctoral studies were performed at The University of Chicago where I investigated gene and genome duplication events in Victoria Prince's lab, and the evolution of nervous system patterning in Christopher Lowe's lab.

My academic career started at University College London where I received my PhD in Genetics in 2002 investigating the developmental genetics of head development in the stalk-eyed fly.
