Graber Group, The Jackson Laboratory
The Jackson Laboratory
600 Main Street
During my doctoral studies, I was fortunate to develop statistical methodology in a variety of fields. I worked on two proteomics projects with biologists at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory, two genomics projects with scientists at UT MD Anderson Cancer Center, and a cardiology project that predicts an individual's heart age with scientists at NASA. Since I want to learn about statistical genetics, spending my postdoctoral career at The Jackson Laboratory was an ideal opportunity. So far, I have collaborated with scientists in Joel Graber's Lab and developed Spliced RUM, a pipeline that discovers novel isoforms using RNA-Seq data and various alignment tools.
