I have three main projects in the Center:

Genome-Wide (GW) Gene Expression Survey in 17 Tissues
Illumina Mouse-6 experiment on normal animals for adrenals, brown adipose tissue, brain, colon, duodenum, heart, ileum, jejunum, kidney, liver, lung, muscle, pancreas, spleen, stomach, testis, and white adipose tissue. Replication: 5 animals/tissue. Objectives: (1) to generate a resource to complement the GNF Gene Atlas, (2) to identify novel genomic regulators of gene expression.

GW Gene Expression Survey in 26 Mouse Strains
Illumina Mouse-6 experiment on right and left kidneys, liver and spleen on normal animals. Replication: 5 animals/sex/tissue.

Genetical Genomics experiment in a MRL/MpJ x SM/J F2 cross
Affymetrix experiment on liver, gonadal fat and kidneys in 144 males and 136 females from a 363 F2 population. Three males and females also profiled from both parental and F1 populations. Objective: dissection of genetic architecture and gene interactions underlying the determination of HDL level.
