This is the site for CGD's positional data; the Genome Browser can be accessed using the either the links in the Karyoview or by searching for a perticular Gene or SNP name. Click on the karyoview image of any mouse chromosome to be taken to the respective part of our mouse data set.

By default, only the genes and phylogenetic trees will be visible; the phylogenetic trees are in the Newick tree format, and can be either downloaded or opened in an appropriate tree viewer. Simply click on a segment in that track to open the file.
These files will easily open in the tree viewer of your choice. Alternatively, you can use our own tree viewer, tentatively named "phylo." It is presently only available in a Windows build (32-bit editions); it is open source, however, and the source will be available soon.
There are also many tracks for the ancestry of thirteen mouse strains, seperated into three groups. These are under the "Ancestry" tab under "Tracks"; you may need to open the section up by clicking on the + sign next to it.
The above information should be duplicated in the sections found by clicking on a given track's name in the collapsible view.
