Mouse Map Converter

This application uses the mouse maps generated for Cox et. al. "A New Standard Genetic Map for the Laboratory Mouse" and Liu et.al. "Starting at the ends: high-resolution sex-specific linkage maps of the mouse indicate that recombination in male germline is anchored at telomeres" to convert between Centimorgans, Base Pairs, Gene Positions and SNP ID's. A linear interpolation is used (as described in the paper) to convert between Base Pairs and Centimorgans when an exact match is not found in the map. Links to complete data are at the bottom of this page.
